Feeding Mechanism:
Sheets are fed from the bottom of the pile using a rotating vacuum wheel.
Air-blow nozzles (side and rear-mounted) help separate sheets in the pile.
Operation:
Covers/inserts can be reloaded without stopping the Smart-binder (on-the-run loading).
Pile Capacity:
Standard maximum pile height: 20 mm.
Can be increased to 200 mm with optional Autoloader CAL-101.
Sheet Alignment:
Covers/inserts are side-registered independently of the content sheets.
Widths can vary; spine (length) must match content sheets for proper registration.

The IBIS CIF-102 Cover/Insert Feeder is a device used with the IBIS Smart-binder to insert separately printed covers or insert sheets into booklets. It is mounted above the Smart-binder’s infeed register table and feeds the sheets into the correct position within the sheet stream.
