The Petratto Cordoba 3 is a specialized high-speed creasing, folding, and gluing machine designed particularly for heavier stocks and specialty folding work. It is different from a conventional folder-gluer because the Cordoba creases the sheet immediately before folding, allowing it to handle thick, laminated, coated, and digitally printed substrates with much less cracking or deformation.

The Cordoba uses a male/female matrix creasing system. Instead of simply making one type of crease, the setup can produce creases oriented for different folding directions. This is especially useful when you’re making complicated folding patterns where some panels fold toward the front and others toward the back.
