Feeder: It is a semi-automatic feeder. The system consist of a lifting platform on which the paper is manually positioned. In the automatic mode, the platform is raised until the sheets reach the gripping area of the feed head which transport them into the mechanical register (motorized side-lay). A special sensor detects any double sheets and stops the movement of the head in order to prevent their entry into the printing unit. The feeder has been designed for a total stack height of 370mm and for a maximum load of 350kg. The feeder was not designed for the use of pallets therefore their use is not recommended.

Feeding Head: The feeding head is a device entirely designed by Ecosystem which performs the feeding of the paper into the machine. It is placed above the plate of the sheet feeder and, according to the working speed of the machine, it varies its feeding frequency. Its suction cups lift the sheets and feed it into the machine avoiding scratching or damaging any process already present on the sheet and, thanks to the combined action of the fingers and the head foot, the risk of introducing double sheets is minimized. Thanks to the adjustments of the blowing and the aspirations carried out by the head, it is possible to operate smoothly the different formats and different weights of paper allowed by the machine.
