When I was in the process of evaluating a collator purchase, I looked at the machines first-hand via demonstrations from Bourg, Horizon and Duplo. Your people presented the Duplo System 4000 very well. You were "up front" with everything, and I was candid as well. In all honesty, I had my mind made up to buy the Bourg until your guys came in and showed me the Duplo. It was not so much the price, but the combination of product features and versatility that won me over.

In our operation, we run anywhere from 8-pagers to 80-pagers in practically every combination of paper stocks and sizes. We had another brand of machine and there was a chronic problem with misfeeds. To avoid misfeeding, we had to run the collator slowly - it just wasn't getting the job done. With the Duplo, we've significantly increased capacity compared to the previous machine. The Duplo does exactly what it should on every job we run, running flat out with hardly ever a misfeed.

The makeready is really fast and simple. You just punch in your sizes, run a test book, and you're ready to go. Very minimal setup.

The changeover automation is beautiful - no hassles whatsoever. You just key it in and let it go. There's very minimal time spent. If you make a mistake, error codes come up - a great feature, because it tells you exactly what needs to be done and gets you going again, quick. On our other machine, we have to change manually. It gets to be a pain and seems especially aggravating in light of what our new Duplo can do.

Another very effective feature is the reject on-the-fly. The machine doesn't grind to a stop, it just spits out the doubles and misses. There's basically no downtime when you're running. It immediately tells you which bin is missing or double-feeding and you can easily make your adjustments from there.

My training rep from Best Graphics was extremely helpful - perfect, in fact. If there's ever a problem or question, he gets right back to me right away or within a half-hour, tops. No complaints there at all. So far, we've had no machine mechanical problems whatsoever.

Your service has been outstanding. You and your reps have always worked with me on anything I've asked and gone out of your way to take care of things. It's been great doing business. I certainly look forward to doing business with you again in the near future.
